I have found that having the consistency of classes has been something that I look forward to every day. I get to see Lori & hear her words of encouragement. By relaxing & being more in tune with my body & mind, I’m able to concentrate on my practice. There are very few/no reasons for me not to attend three times a week. And I can certainly feel my progress. Thank you, Lori.

My physical life has been transomed. I still struggle in her class due to bad knees but the overall experience is so positive. I enjoy Lori’s classes on a weekly basis and find myself getting stronger each day. Lori is a positive figure who accepts you for you. My mental and physical stability has been enriched by Lori’s yoga classes.

I always wanted to try a yoga class, but not being "bendy" at all, I hesitated for years. Finally, I saw a sign for Lori's classes, and took a chance. So glad I did! Yes, I was nervous at first, but midway through my 1st visit, Lori whispered, "You're doing fine!" I knew I was in the right class for me. Two years later, I continue to be surprised by what Lori can teach and gently encourage my body to do. I'm aware of my breathing, how my mind, heart, and body are connected like each muscle to the others, the different parts of the spine, and how to give a proper salutation to the sun! If you feel like your "dog" has been "down" for too long, and you want to learn about the "warriors" inside of you, you should come try a class with Lori!

Lori is awesome! Works with you at whatever stage of yoga you are at, and helps you grow from there💕. Having yoga during these corona-crazy times has been a lifesaver! Just to unplug, find that calm space, forget about germs, and work hard is so refreshing! Thank you!

I’ve taken classes from Lori Walker. She helped me so much when I was just beginning yoga. Lori was patient and also showed me ways that I could modify poses so that I didn’t injure myself. I would highly recommend her for beginners or more advanced students. She is awesome at helping people of all levels feel comfortable and practice easily.

The ONLY thing that feels normal right now is doing yoga on Tuesday and Thursday mornings! Once I close my eyes, I feel like I’m back in class at the church. Hearing Lori’s voice and going through the warm up routine is very calming. Remembering to breathe, stretch and NOT THINK gives me the break from this craziness that I need. Do yourself a huge favor - get back on your mat!!

I take Yoga from Lori at YogaForYou. I'm not a beginner, but do fit the age category. Lori is good at focusing and reinforcing the basics: breathing, proper alignment, and listening to one's own body for how much to challenge oneself on any given day. I just finished a "10 pack"-type package and will purchase another one. The space is pleasant, the people are nice (full disclosure: I'm a neighbor), and I like Lori's music choices.

Lori is a really talented instructor. Her quiet gentle manner itself is relaxing. She leads both beginners and more advanced yogis with the same ease, and always with an eye for safety- Lori offers numerous adaptations to avoid aggravating any areas of concern. You will NOT end up in a headstand or contorted into insane postures, but you definitely know you've gotten a workout when you're done. Her classes offer a tremendous return on your investment of time.

I've been practicing yoga for 20 years and like Lori's style. She adapts to who's in the class and suggests modifications for all levels. She also hits on the basics ("Breathe..." "Hands under shoulders, knees under hips..." etc.), so you are not likely to hurt yourself in her classes. She also is able to open the doors for "fresh air" classes or even move them outside when the weather is appropriate and ties in a theme ("trees"), so it's never boring. Same with the music. Give Yoga for You a try.

Lori is a great instructor in addition to catering to all levels. She was my beginning instructor several years ago and when I found out she was back I was delighted. She knows how to make each practice work best for her Yogis.

Lori, I can't thank you enough for teaching yoga here in Park Crossing. It had been wonderful to start back after many years away-since Betsy B. taught. What brought me was a need for something to improve my range of motion. But you & yoga have given me so much more. I love that I am more aware of my body, breathing & how important strengthening my core is to every aspect of well being. I love that we go at our own pace & don't push until it's painful. Classes are at various times & we have different levels of classes. But, we are taught different options for each position so that we can go to any class & be engaged at our own level. We are not in competition with anyone. The cost is very reasonable. I'm at my 10th class & see so much progress in my strength, balance & flexibility. I enjoy meeting & getting to know new friends as well. This is awfully long...but there are so many ways you & yoga are important to me. I look forward to my next class! Thank you for everything!

Lori, at "Yoga ForYou" is great. I'm a beginner and she has made me feel so comfortable, as I try to become a Yogi. I like the fact that the class is small, convenient and friendly. Try one of her classes, you will be glad you did.
