Classes include a series of postures and movements that build core strength, endurance and flexibility. The focus is on proper stretching, breathing, and relaxation techniques to strengthen one’s body and clear the mind in the Kripalu tradition, honoring mind, body and spirit. We offer a safe, encouraging atmosphere in which to practice yoga.
Kripalu yoga is an experiential journey that develops deep awareness while providing specific guidance in the postures and movements of yoga. We will guide you to move at your own pace, honoring your body’s needs in each moment in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. Alternative postures and modifications are provided to encourage safe exploration to build confidence, flexibility, balance and strength.
